Music To Strip By - The First Edition

Every once in a while, strippers run into a problem with their music. Actually, it's ALL the time. You get tired of dancing to the same old shit, or you get to a new club and some girl is dancing to "your song".  Luckily, I'm here to help! Starting with this post, and periodically throughout the life of this blog, I will be posting lists of what I consider really good songs for you to try out. They will vary in genre, from R&B, to rock, to electronic, so there's something for everyone.

1.  Miguel - "Use Me", "Arch & Point"
2.  Garbage - "Number 1 Crush"
3.  Breaking Benjamin - "Topless"
4.  Poe - "Haunted"
5.  Deadmau5 featuring Chris James - "The Veldt"
6.  August Alsina - "Let Me Hit That"
7.  Beyonce & Andre 3000 - "Back 2 Black"
8.  Deftones - "Kimdracula"
9.  Kings Of Leon - "Crawl"
10.  Rihanna - "Skin"

By the way, I've had dancers that work or have worked for me in the past dance to every song that I will list in these posts.  If you try any of these out, I'd for sure like feedback. Thanks!

What I've Learned...

This is by no means a complete list, but for your entertainment, here are a few things I've learned over my decade or so of doing this job...

1.  Strippers lie - yes, I know it's part of their job, but why lie to management? Life would be so much easier for both of us if you be honest.  If you don't feel like coming in, just say so.  Don't tell me you are sick, having home problems, or your house burned down.

2.  Owners can't manage - stay out of your manager's way, sit in the office, and count money.

3.  There's no such thing as having "too many dancers".

4.  When there are 3 or more strippers gathered at a table with no customers around, no good can come of it.

5.  If you are a man, female co-workers will hate on you quicker than the men will.

6.  NEVER allow a stripper to move in with you.

"Damn I Want Your Job!!"

If I had a dollar for every time I heard those words, I'd be one rich person.  I guess my job could always be worse. I could be shoveling shit or asking "paper or plastic".  I bitch about my job, but truth is I wouldn't wanna do anything else. The strip club business is what I know and love to do and I'm good at it.

The purpose of this blog is to give my own insight into the world of strippers and strip clubs, based on my 10+ years of experiences. It will make you hopefully laugh, maybe cry, but most of the time, make you say "What the fuck?!" In any case, I hope you enjoy reading and please feel free to leave comments.
